BoxDrop Furniture and Mattress ("BoxDrop Furniture and Mattress," "we," "us") is a family-owned furniture and mattress store at 1010 McGinnis Park Court, Suite B, Suwanee, GA 30024. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
This website has no accounts, no checkout, and no forms — we don't ask you to type any personal information here. What is collected is usage data, gathered automatically through cookies and similar technologies:
- Pages you visit, buttons and links you tap (for example, tapping our phone number or directions link), time on the site, and how you found us
- Device and browser type, approximate location (city level), and IP address
- Ad-interaction data — whether you arrived from one of our ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok
How we use it
- To understand how people use the site and improve it
- To measure whether our advertising works (for example, how many visitors ask for directions to the store) and to show our ads to people more likely to be interested
We do not sell your personal information.
The analytics and advertising services we use
These third-party services set cookies or use similar identifiers on this site. Each has its own privacy policy and controls:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads — site measurement and ad performance (Google privacy policy, Analytics opt-out)
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — ad measurement and audiences (Meta privacy policy)
- TikTok Pixel — ad measurement and audiences (TikTok privacy policy)
Your choices: you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, use each service's opt-out linked above, or opt out of interest-based advertising broadly at optout.aboutads.info. The site works fine with cookies blocked.
Financing links
If you tap our financing link, you leave this site for Snap Finance's application. Anything you enter there is collected by Snap Finance under their privacy policy — we never see your application details.
If you call, text, or message us
When you contact us by phone, text, or social media, we use your contact information to respond and to follow up about your purchase or delivery. Reply STOP to any text from us and we'll stop texting. We don't share your contact information with anyone except as needed to complete your purchase (for example, our delivery partners get your name, address, and phone number to deliver your furniture).
Text messaging program (SMS)
BoxDrop sends text messages to customers who provide their mobile phone number — for example, a message asking for a Google review after a purchase, and occasional promotional offers. You opt in by giving us your phone number in person at the point of sale and agreeing to receive recurring automated texts; a consent notice also appears on your sales invoice. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your SMS consent and opt-in information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and automated replies
When you message our Facebook Page or Instagram account (@boxdropsuwanee), or comment on one of our posts or ads, Meta shares with us what you send: your message or comment text, your public name or username, and an ID Meta assigns to the conversation. We use it only to answer you.
- Automated replies. To answer quickly, including after hours, an automated assistant drafts and sends replies on our behalf. Your message text and recent messages in the same conversation are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to write the reply. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. If you comment on a post, we may reply publicly with a short note and send you one private message about your comment.
- A real person. Anything the assistant can't answer, and anything about an order, delivery, refund, or complaint, is passed to the store owner, who replies personally.
- What we store. We keep a log of messages the assistant answered (the message, our reply, and the conversation ID) in a secure database for up to 12 months, so we can check reply quality and follow up. We don't use it for advertising and never sell it.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete the messages and information we hold about you at any time. Email sales@discountfurniturecompany.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include your Facebook name or Instagram username (or call (470) 915-1806). We'll delete your records from our systems within 30 days and confirm by reply. To delete the conversation itself from Facebook or Instagram, delete it in the Messenger or Instagram app. Purchase records we're required to keep for tax purposes are retained only as long as the law requires.
In-store purchases
Purchase records (name, contact info, what you bought) are kept in our point-of-sale system to handle delivery, warranty claims, and receipts. Payment card processing is handled by our payment processors — we don't store card numbers.
Data retention & security
Analytics data is retained per each service's standard settings. Message logs are kept up to 12 months. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for business and tax purposes. We limit access to customer information to the people who run the store.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new effective date.
